Caroline Andrews
Caroline Andrews was a Councillor for Syon Ward from 2006 - 2010. She is married to Phil Andrews and is the mother of 10-year-old twins. Born in Hanworth, she has lived in the borough all her life. Caroline was Deputy Mayor of the borough from 2007-2008. A qualified book-keeper, Caroline also has many years' experience working with young people as a Youth leader and a Teaching Assistant. She holds the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award, (one of the first to do so in Hounslow in the early '80s) , and also has the BETA (Basic Expedition Training Award), training young people for the Bronze and Silver Awards and has served as Treasurer for the Hounslow Duke of Edinburgh Awards Committee.

Councillor Mindu Bains
Mindu Bains is a Councillor for the Isleworth ward and was elected to the council in 2010. Mindu has lived in Isleworth for the past 20 years and has been an active member of local community groups.
Mindu moved to London in the 1970's having graduated with a Masters in Political Sciences from India. She can speak a range of languages including Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu, and enjoys engaging with people in the community to provide support where possible.
Since retiring from the airline industry in 2008, where she worked in the People Services team, her community work has focused on supporting Trinjan Group, a charity which actively fundraises and provides a support network for women.
Mindu was appointed as a Trustee of the Charity in July 2010.

Ron Bartholomew
Ron Bartholomew was born in 1945 in Hillingdon and became an Isleworth resident in 1961. His early employment was in building renovation and conversion. His voluntary involvement in 1960s housing campaigns led to him setting up Middlesex Housing Association (MHA) in 1969.
Ron was employed from 1976 as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MHA and then from 1986 to 2006 as CEO of its successor organisation, Co-op Homes. Two thousand properties were developed and managed for more then 20 housing co-operatives through these two organisations. The first co-op developed by MHA pioneered the integration of wheelchair users with able bodied tenants. MHA's work also included the restoration and conversion of historic listed buildings.
Ron was a Trustee of Isleworth and Hounslow Charity from 1983 to 2006 and he also served as a Trustee of two other almshouse charities in Chiswick. Ron was a Hounslow Councillor from 1990 – 2006 with responsibilities including housing, environment, voluntary sector and disability organisations. He was a founder member in 1980 of Middlesex Housing Co-operative and is still supporting its work in voluntary self-help housing.
Ron was re-appointed as a Trustee of Isleworth & Hounslow Charity Ltd in July 2010.

Felicity Barwood
Felicity is a Councillor for the London Borough of Hounslow.
As Mayor of Hounslow from 2006-2007, Felicity took a
keen interest in services for the elderly. Felicity is a Trustee of Mortlake Crematorium, a Trustee of Chiswick Parochial Charities, a committee member for Age Concern and a member of the Chiswick Area Committee. |

Anna Brooker is Priest in Charge of All Saints Church
in Old Isleworth. Prior to her arrival in 2006, she worked
nearby in the Parish of Brentford. She was formerly
a primary teacher, working in a number of local schools. A
Liverpudlian by birth, she has lived in West London for
27 years and is married with three adult children.

Angela Carroll
Angela Carroll is a partner at Bonnett Son & Turner solicitors based in Whitton. For many years she has acted for many of the elderly of the borough. Her primary workload is dealing with Wills/Trust, Probate and Mental Health issues, but also property related work. She visits various local groups from time to time, such as Retirement Associations and Clubs to give talks about Wills and Tax issues. She recently spoke on the new Lasting Powers of Attorney legislation, focusing on issues of relevance to the membership of the Parkinson Disease Association.
As well as practising in Hounslow, Angela went to junior and senior schools in the borough and lived in Heston for very many years, which has given her a good local knowledge of the area and the people. Angela has been a Trustee of the Charity since September 2008. |

Alan Cooke
Alan studied Mechanical Engineering at college in Buckinghamshire. Alan was employed at a company in Brentford for 27 years, which specialized in the manufacture of electrical accessories and plastic mouldings. For many years he ran the Design Engineering department, responsible for all aspects of product and associated tools design. Latterly he attended various technical working groups responsible for overseeing relevant product standards, with some overseas work. Until his retirement in 2008, Alan was employed as an IT Consultant in Slough and Uxbridge. He was involved with the technical writing of training manuals for software packages. Alan has lived in Isleworth since 1980.

Pete works for a local housing co-operative. He previously
worked for the Isleworth Telephone Exchange from 1979 – 1990,
and was an Isleworth Councillor for 8 years. He is a
former mayor of the London Borough of Hounslow. Pete

Maggie Hardy
Maggie Hardy was born and educated in Ayrshire Scotland and after a spell of working with the BBC in Glasgow in their Religious, Education and Music & Arts departments, she moved to London to join their Drama Department working on BBC favourites like “Bergerac” and “Nanny”. She went freelance in the mid-eighties.
Maggie has been married to Jon Hardy for 24 years and they have a 13-year old daughter.
Maggie is a Governor at Isleworth Town Primary school and a member of the PCC at St. John the Baptist where she manages the church hall and teaches Sunday School. In her spare time she is an avid reader, loves the cinema and cooking and in fine weather, walking and photography.

Geraldine Horwood
Geraldine Horwood is a Family Law Solicitor by profession. She practised as a solicitor from 1987, when she completed her Articles, to her retirement in 2008. Prior to 1987 she worked as a manager in the recruitment industry. In 1999 Geraldine was appointed as a Deputy District Judge.
Her work is in Civil Jurisdiction and she sits in a number of County Courts. She is involved on a voluntary basis at Hillingdon Women’s Centre and Sure Start Hillingdon. Geraldine is an active member of the Isleworth Actors Company and she has been resident in Isleworth since 1977. Geraldine was appointed as a Trustee of the Charity in May 2009. |

Nisar Malik
Nisar Malik has lived in Hounslow since 1976 and has worked and has been self employed in the borough. Nisar is married with three grown-up children who all attended Lampton School. Nisar has been a school parent governor and was Councillor for the Hounslow Central ward from May 2006 to May 2010.
Nisar and his wife took over a family business 13 years ago on Kingsley Road, Hounslow. Last year they joined ASDA to meet the need of different communities by offering choice to all the community. They have opened fresh meat shops in five different ASDA stores in London, employing over 40 people. Nisar has always taken a keen interest in the local community.
Nisar has been a Trustee of the Charity since July 2010.

Councillor Ed Mayne
Ed Mayne is a Councillor for the Isleworth Ward and Lead Member for Community Safety and Enforcement at the London Borough of Hounslow. He has lived in the Borough all his life apart from the time he spent studying Modern History at the University of Oxford followed by a sabbatical year as Vice-President for Finance at Oxford University Student Union. He has previously worked at the pressure group Compass, at the Trade Union Unite, for Shahid Malik MP at the House of Commons, for London MEP Robert Evans in his constituency office in Feltham and at the Judicial Appointments Commission.
Ed was appointed as a Trustee of the Charity in July 2010.
